Welcome to my collection of wearable art, inspired and constructed from dutch wax prints. Dutch Wax are cotton prints based on Indonesian batik designs and are a living cultural icon in West Africa dating back to the 1800's. I've added a North American twist to these exuberant prints, pairing them with menswear wools, laces and luxurious linings for elegance, and synergistic beauty.
Each of the pieces on these pages is a one-off and is designed and sewn by me in my studio overlooking the garden.
